ITINERARY
For this trip, the idea is to budget as low as possible. You want to manage the financial aspect so you can pay for everything, but still get to do all of the fun activities that you want to. On this particular trip, a troop went to London, the Netherlands, France, and Germany. To save money, this troop only paid for a hotel when they were in France--everywhere else, they stayed with friends, so if you know somebody you can stay with, it's a great way to save money. This trip is directed more towards girls ages 13+ because it involves being away from home for over 2 weeks. Girls will also learn great life skills like how to pack and carry their luggage. On this trip, as a leader, you may want to bring along parents to chaperone, depending on the size of your troop. If the leaders or parents want to donate any frequent flyer points to help pay for the troops tickets, that will help save a lot of money.
Another expense on this trip is transportation. This you can pay for with troop expenses, and you can take buses or rent a car.
You and your troop can visit whichever places that you would like, but these are some of the suggested places...
